Chokecherry Curmudgeon

A little while back, Rick spotted an interesting branch, which has yielded two walking sticks. Only the one is done, the second is still being worked on. I’ve nicknamed the finished one Curmudgeon, it has a mass amount of character. (No, I’m not keeping it!) We’re pretty sure this is Chokecherry, not so sure on what kind of chokecherry. The wood is just heart-achingly beautiful. Curmudgeon had some India ink work done, which I wasn’t happy about, but did it for Rick. In the future, if he wants this done, I’ll use my earth pigments, which yield a much more natural look than the ink. Curmudgeon walks well, and broadcasts a “get out of my way”, too.
