  1. Oooh, thanks, I needed that! I do love dandelions – I did an embroidery using their life cycle, so to speak, as a design once.

  2. Yes, and they have so many different looks, too.

    I have another idea in the queue – I want to take an old pendant watch, fill the front under the crystal with dandelion seeds and wear it as a dandelion clock. It’s still in the really vague stage, but I have the watch, I just have to take it apart and decide where to go from there. I have lots of ideas but I’m not so great on the actual execution sometimes, alas…

  3. My mother’s lawn is a radiant meadow of dandelions, purple violets, and white violets. I love looking at it.

  4. It truly is. Fortunately, she appreciates it too. And the plants flower quickly after the lawn has been cut–in about 24 hours for some of them; by 48 hours it looks pretty much as if the mowing never happened at all.
